Getting to witness one 10-wicket haul in Test cricket is a great feeling, but what if you get to watch two? Well, that's what happened to Richard Stokes. He was there was a boy to see Jim Laker take 10/53 against Australia in 1956. Then in 1999 he saw Anil Kumble grab 10/74 vs Pakistan as a man. Richard Stokes also witnessed that second 10-Wicket Hauls as well. He had gone at the age of 10 with his father to watch the Ashes Test and luckily got to see history being made. Then as fate would have it, in 1999 he was a travelling businessman who happened to be at the Kotla when Kumble repeated the feat.

But he has surly missed the 3rd such 10 wicket haul when New Zealand left arm spinner Ajaz Patel also took all the 10 wickets of Indian first inning in Dec 2021.

Eng Vs Aus : Jim Laker 10 Wicket Haul

England made 459 in their first inning. With the brilliant bowling performance of Jim Laker who has taken 9 wickets for 37 runs in his 16.4 overs, Australia bowled out on a 84 runs.

Playing the follow-on Jim Laker again destroyed the Australian inning and have captured all the 10 wickets. Australia bowled out on 205 runs and England won this match by an inning and 170 runs (full scorecard).

Ind Vs Pak : Anil Kumble 10 Wicket Haul

Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin won the toss and elected to bat first. With some fine knocks of Sadagopan Ramesh and captain Azharuddin himself, India scored 252 runs in their first innings. Pakistan were bowled out on 172 runs. Anil Kumble was the highest Wicket taker and he took 4 wickets for 75 runs in the first inning of Pakistan.

Sadagopan Ramesh again played a crucial innings of 96 runs. Sourav Ganguly and Javagal Srinath also contributed with the bat and made 62 and 49 runs respectively. With their effort India reach to 339 runs or in their second inning and Pakistan was given the target of 420 runs to win the match.

Pakistan started very well and at one point of time they were 101 without any loss. From here the magic of Anil Kumble spin started. Pakistan bowled out on 207 runs and Anil Kumble to all the 10 wickets for 74 Run. India won the match by 212 runs (full scorecard).

New Zealand Vs India : Ajaz Patel 10 Wicket Haul

India won the toss and after electing the bat first, at the end of the one India was in a comfortable position of 221 with the loss of 4 wickets Mayank Agrawal has made a brilliant century and he was not on 120 runs with wriddhiman Saha on 25 not out. Mumbai born New Zealand left arm spinner Ajaz Patel has taken all the four wickets fell.

Azaz Patel magic continued on second day as well and he has captured all the remaining six wickets thus becoming the third cricketer who has taken all the 10 wickets in an inning. India Bull doubt on 325 runs.

In reply in New Zealand were bowled out only on 62 runs in their first inning. India batted again and declared their second inning at 276 runs for 7 wickets. Facing the used target of 540 runs, New Zealand were bowled out on 167 runs and India won the match by 372 runs (full scorecard).
